LOL News and the problem with novelty-only apps

LOL News started as a fun mobile concept, then reliability problems made it clear that novelty is not enough.

I built a React Native iteration around feed behavior, content filtering, and voice playback. The app needed stable data behavior to stay useful.

The first pipeline pass was fragile. Once feeds drifted, the product value dropped fast. Reliability became the main design rule.

Current status is a stronger prototype framing with clearer next steps on source fallbacks and screenshot packaging. GitHub: https://github.com/pradyotbathuri
